Basic training in the VdTMoCA

Training for foundation level knowledge is provided as E-learning in discrete short courses and modules that can be undertaken at your own pace and repeatedly viewed within a 4-week period. Cohorts run from the 10th of one month until the 8th of the next.

Basic training:

Foundation VdTMoCA training for Occupational Therapists (online) - 3 days of online training for therapists £355 (no VAT to add). 

The VdTMoCA for OT Support Workers - 2.5 to 3 days of online course for support workers supervised by an Occupational Therapist £355 (no VAT to add).

12-month contract for 45 staff

Head OTs can apply to train up to 45 staff (OTs and OTAs) in a 12-month period for a set fee of £4500 (£100 per person) no VAT to add. The 12-month contract includes a full day (09.30-16.00 depending upon location) supportive clinical visit from Dr Wendy Sherwood to provide supervision, facilitate team discussions or teaching post training to enable an OT team to embed the model into practice. Alternatively, a day of online consultation can be arranged. Two copies of the text on application of the VdTMoCA to practice is also included: Perspectives on the Vona du Toit Model of Creative Ability: practice, theory and philosophy. 2nd edition. Sherwood (2024).
